Open SQL Server Management Studio. At the Connect To Server select Analysis Services from the Server Type dropdown list. Select the Server Name entered on the Settings screen and connect to the Analysis Server.
Expand the Analysis Server node to view the Databases node. Expanding the Databases node you will see a node with the Database Name you used in the Cube Design screen.
Expanding further you will find a Cubes node and then a node within that with the name of the cube you defined in the Cube Design screen.
Right click the Cube name and select Browse.
The cube will match the design specified in the Cube Design screen. Expand the Measures node to see the measures in the cube. Either drag and drop, or right click, to add a measure to the Data Area.
Similarly add dimensions to the Row and Column Areas. Hierarchies are often placed in Row Areas. If required, add a dimension to the Filter Area.
The Results are updated automatically with each dimension added. Eventually you will have the exact structure you need to analyse your data the way want it.
